ABOUT US:
Early Years Intercultural Association, known as EYIA™, is a not-for-profit Health Promotion Charity and federal government-approved Public Benevolent Institution in Australia. It is not linked to another charity, organisation, or business.
Founded with a mission to support refugee and migrant families in need and further assist stakeholders supporting young children with a disability, developmental delay, or health and well-being needs.
Our board directors have worked professionally with young children and new arrival refugee and migrant families for over thirty years in Australia.
We are a Multidisciplinary team of highly qualified, experienced, and Australian-accredited professionals in allied health, education, and research.
Our work to support the needs of young children and their families occurs in partnership with government-accredited health, early childhood education and care, primary schools, or community organisations.
The Charity supports young children and their families experiencing speech, language, health, or community integration needs in partnership with authorised stakeholders.
Our programs are free of charge to children and families supported by Australian accredited health, education, and community organisations in accordance with Government requirements.
OUR BEGINNINGS:
In 2015, founding members voluntarily supported new arrival families with children less than six years of age in the local communities of Southwest Sydney. These families required community-based assistance and included parents, transnational grandparents, and sole parents.
The Australian Minister for Immigration, Citizenship, and Multicultural Affairs acknowledged our contributions as did leaders in Australian Early Childhood government organisations.
In 2018, the Charity was endorsed and registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and further endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient.

We are seeking donations to help us conduct these programs in Sydney, and with your assistance, we can support more children and their families.
