Early Childhood Australia National Conference:Kumarninthi- Becoming one: Old ways, new wisdom

In 2023, the Australian Commissioners in the national inquiry into early childhood education and care (ECEC) invited Early Years Intercultural Association who attended a round table discussion with early childhood community leaders on the experiences of children and their families of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
In 2024, Early Years Intercultural Association was invited and attended a public hearing to speak personally with Commissioners.

Early Years Intercultural Association stands in solidarity with children, families and individuals affected by war, unrest, disadvantage and VULNERABILITY.

Our hope is for peace to be restored and sustainability for a healthy, safe, happy, and thriving future for everyone.

Early Years Intercultural Association EYIA ™ continues to advocate equity for all young children from humanitarian and migrant backgrounds living in Australia. We are pleased the Australia Government has acknowledged in the Budget additional support for refugee children and their families to receive Medicare.
